Reporting inventions in iEdison can be a clunky, time-sucking task that is riddled with compliance hurdles, error notifications and reporting requirements. Many universities have made it policy and procedure to report ALL inventions into iEdison upon disclosure to the TTO. But that’s not necessary or even wise to do.
